Sit on a beautiful banquette built into the rocks on the main patio while watching one of Africa’s famous sunsets. A double bed and chaise lounge provide you with ample comfort. The bathroom is decadently fitted with a sunken bath tub from which you can enjoy sweeping views of the park and private water hole. Hanging glass crystal chandeliers and soft furnishings in vibrant colours complete the picture of the ultimate combination between the wild outdoors and world-class comfort.

132 steps to the lodge
Climbing the 132 stairs to the summit is well worth it once you see the view from the top. The stairs are uneven and are unfortunately not suitable for the physically impaired.

We provide our guests with anti-bug agents and mosquito repellents to ensure the comfort of our guests stay. There is no danger however as it is a malaria-free area.

The Pilanesberg National Park is home to the “Big 5” (elephant, rhino and buffalo). Join their highly trained and experienced field guides on two game drive adventures per day in seeking out the diversity of indigenous flora and fauna of the area. Included halfway during the game drives, which are conducted in open, 6 seated vehicles, are morning coffee, muffins and sun downer stops. Our field guides will take you on an ethological journey through this unique South African paradise.
