Amphitheatre Hike

This exciting hiking experience is located in the northern Drakensberg, South Africa. This hike is for 3 days and 3 nights. This location has one of the highest waterfalls in South Africa, and hikers will find themselves at the top of it at some point in their journey. This is where everyone will be able to sit down and drink their water and absorb the beautiful view.

There will be a guide that will assist you through this whole hike to ensure your safety.
The hikers will hike through an area called the indigenous yellowwood grasslands and forests, they will have the chance to see plenty of wildlife, and this includes, mountain reedbuck, eland, baboons and endemic birds.

The route includes the popular chain ladders – two sections, of 40m and 20m, solidly bolted into the rock – this is where the hikers have to climb up.
The Amphitheatre, is an enormous rock wall that makes it one of the most striking features in the Drakensberg range.
